About the Position
Our organization has a long-standing history of supporting working families across North America. For more than 60 years, we’ve collaborated with tens of thousands of unions and associations representing a wide range of essential professions. Through these partnerships, we help their members access clear and accurate information about supplemental benefits.
All conversations are by request only. The individuals we speak with have already expressed interest in receiving benefit details, so there is no cold outreach or soliciting involved in this role.
Primary Responsibilities
Representatives in this position are responsible for guiding families through the benefit information they’ve requested. Daily tasks include:
Setting appointments with members who want to review their coverage options
Conducting virtual discussions using Zoom or phone
Explaining benefit programs in a professional and easy-to-understand manner
Identifying needs and helping clients navigate available choices
Following up consistently to maintain strong, ongoing relationships
Using a structured training model to support continued growth and success
Working toward individual goals, with opportunities to take on leadership roles
The emphasis of this role is on support, clarity, and education, rather than traditional sales pressure.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for applicants who demonstrate:
Clear, effective communication
Basic proficiency with computers and virtual platforms
Strong personal motivation and professionalism
Solid organizational and time-management habits
A willingness to learn and improve
The ability to complete a background check
Prior experience in customer service, sales, or similar fields can be useful, but is not required. We place a strong focus on consistency, attitude, and trainability.
